This boutique hotel offers a quaint spot for after-work or late night drinks on the rooftop. Paired to perfection, the ambiance is settling yet modest with palms that take you back to Hawaii. Its list of cocktails is impressive, do try one of their speciality drinks–you’ll be having more than one! Come here on a Sunday night where the crowd is few and the waitstaff is always at your beck and call. Most of all, the casual yet chic vibe attracts locals and scenesters to come enjoy the low-rise, charming view of the Empire State Building amongst others.
Enough said. This spot offers a varied set of live bands from punk, jazz to even groove every night of the week. Come dine or just lounge with friends ’cause it’s just so nice to chill out and drink a few beers with your buddies on an ordinary Wednesday night.
Well, Pink was lit up in pink for sure with a mix of both the bargain basement priced pink and white balloons and classy round-shaped decorative balls hanging from the ceiling, but clearly that’s not all the hype it really deserves ‘cause the DJ only played House music the entire night! Quite the disappointment for a Thursday night let alone an anniversary party! No wonder the place was not the packed Pink it usually is on a Thursday night though we could contribute that to the lousy economy going on nowadays. I was not all impressed with the music though the crowd stood still with its chic fashionistas and men with Black Amex’s. Its people-watching always deserves an A+ with its modish men and women who frequent the club. Do consider coming here on a Wednesday night instead where the DJ plays a mix of hip-hop, alternative and 80s music, and of course, House. Its appeal is a lot more socially acceptable for the classy, chic girls and guys that come here.
